About

Who am I?

I’m a passionate full-stack web developer who embarked on my professional journey at the age of 17. I have five years of experience in web development. Despite this, I would still consider myself a novice. Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in technical communication from Texas Tech University, deepening my understanding of effective communication strategies for complex technical concepts.

How have I used my learning?

In addition to my web development expertise, I have a profound passion for teaching and public speaking. I’ve had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and skills in various educational settings. As a dedicated educator, I taught four semesters of high school computer classes, covering introductory topics in both computer fundamentals and web development. This past semester, I served as a Teaching Assistant for a technical communication class, supporting students in their learning journey.

What have I accomplished?

Beyond the classroom, I’ve had the opportunity to deliver impactful presentations on the subject of cybersecurity to diverse audiences. One of my most significant achievements was being awarded Best Speaker at the prestigious 2023 Technical Rhetoric Symposium. My compelling presentation dissecting Industrial Society and its Future has inspired me to delve deeper into the topic, and I am currently in the process of publishing a book based on my symposium presentation.

Why do I blog?

I blog to fuel my passion for learning and provide myself with an outlet for exploration. I enjoy dissecting website designs and simplifying technical papers to make them accessible to a broader audience. Additionally, it serves as a personal library, allowing me to document valuable resources and retain the knowledge I’ve gained. By sharing my insights, I aim to foster a community of continuous learners who appreciate design analysis and effective communication in the ever-evolving world of web development and technical communication.
